A blog brief

Moscow, for now, is my home. I've decided to let blog readers have a peek through my curtains.

This will be a blog about journalism, life and politics in Moscow. As events happen, I aim to chronicle them here in my free time, along with a liberal dose of anecdotes, personal commentary and other blog freedoms. Some of what I publish here will have already appeared in the print media. But I expect that most of it will not. The original content will be something between 'citizen journalism' and professional dispatches, to keep my correspondent's pen honed during news droughts.
